On September 21, 2022, Mykola Pototsky, the counsel of Doubinsky & Osharova, held the webinar "Cassational Appeal in case on protection of trademarks rights".
During the webinar Mykola touched on the following issues:
- main categories of trademark cases;
- court decisions subject to review by the court of cassation instance;
- cassation filters as a mandatory element of self-limitation of the Supreme Court's jurisdiction, otherwise the court of cassation instance as an extraordinary stage of the process will turn into an ordinary (ordinary) procedural activity.
As part of the webinar, Mykola conducted a detailed analysis of several trademark lawsuits as well as the Supreme Court's legal positions on them.
