IPCLC 2026: Michael Doubinsky participated in the 6th IP Case Law Conference

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine (NAPA) and Managing Partner of Doubinsly & Osharova, Michael Doubinsky, as part of the Ukrainian delegation, participated in the 6th IP Case Law Conference 2026 held at the headquarters of the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante.

Organised by the EUIPO Boards of Appeal, the conference is recognised as one of Europe’s leading professional platforms for discussing the development of case law and current trends in intellectual property law.

The main topic of the 2026 conference, “Growing through change,” brought together judges, representatives of national and international IP offices, appeal bodies, legal practitioners, academics, business representatives, and international institutions for professional discussions on contemporary challenges and transformations in IP.

During the conference, participants explored key developments in the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the General Court of the European Union, and the EUIPO Boards of Appeal. Particular attention was paid to issues related to trademarks, industrial designs, proof of trademark use, domain name disputes, geographical indications, the interaction between registration procedures and rights enforcement, and the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
