On 27 October, attorney-at-law at Doubinsky & Osharova, Valeria Sokolova, spoke as a guest lecturer at the webinar “Protection and Registration of Intellectual Property”, held as part of the Intellectual Property course organised by Business Consulting Academy.
During her presentation, Valeriia covered:
- the main types of intellectual property objects;
- the difference between IP protection and enforcement.
- the specifics of protecting various IP objects under the legislation of Ukraine, the EU, and the USA, as well as the criteria for choosing the appropriate form of protection;
- mechanisms and methods for enforcing intellectual property rights.
In addition to the theoretical aspects, Valeriia shared practical examples from her own experience, demonstrating how to effectively apply legal tools to protect intellectual property rights in practice.
