At IP UKRAINE NOW 2025, organised by the Ukrainian Bar Association, Anton Koval, Partner at Doubinsky & Osharova, joined a dynamic discussion battle on the topic of well-known trademarks.
Anton highlighted the challenges of the “inter partes” approach in recognising well-known marks and shared his vision on how these issues could be effectively addressed.
He also outlined the key challenges faced by law enforcement and judicial practice and proposed recommendations for improving legislation and protection mechanisms for well-known trademarks in Ukraine.
