The annual conference - IP Ukraine NOW 2024, organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association, was held on November 1.
Victoria Sopilnyak, partner at Doubinsky & Osharova, co-moderated the third session devoted to contemporary IP justice issues.
During the panel discussion, topical issues of the industry were raised, namely, the trends of the judicial IP practice of Ukraine and the experience of the judicial IP practice of the EU, judicial IP examinations, and the possibility of compensation for damages for the violation of IP rights.
Partner Anton Koval also attended the third session of the event. He devoted his speech to the issue of protecting well-known trademarks in court, taking into account the decision of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court in case No. 910/13988/20 dated 04/17/2024.
