As part of the special course "The Right to Create", which was held on December 10 at the Legal High School, partner of "Doubinsky and Osharova" Anton Koval gave a lecture on arising and protection of creators' copyright for literary and musical pieces.
Anton drew the audience attention to key points that authors should consider:
- to apply for registration of copyright with the state body in order to obtain a certificate;
- not to infringe the rights of other authors, be original in creating their own pieces of work;
- to monitor and identify copyright infringements independently;
- to carry out an effective copyright protection.
A separate part of the presentation was devoted to a detailed analysis of interesting practical cases of the world’s rock music icons, including Led Zeppelin, George Harrison.
The special atmosphere of the lecture was created by the synergy of Anton's professional legal knowledge and his creative experience as a musician and songwriter.
