This year, three partners of Doubinsky & Osharova have traditionally been highly recognized in the IP Stars research by Managing Intellectual Property.

On June 5, one of the largest and most anticipated events in the field of intellectual property took place - the X Intellectual Property Forum, organized by Yurydychna Praktyka. 

Victoria Sopilnyak, a partner of Doubinsky and Osharova, moderated the forum's first session devoted to IP infrastructure issues.

On May 30, Anastasia Kazankina, Counsel and Attorney at Law at Doubinsky & Osharova, held a webinar "Intellectual property in IT: How not to violate the intellectual property rights of others and protect your intellectual rights" for the #БУДЬ/BE mentoring program, which helps Ukrainian women find themselves in the field of IT and creative industries.

On May 25, Mykola Koval, attorney at law at Doubinsky and Osharova, took part in the IP Law Talk, organized by the Ukrainian Council of Young Lawyers together with the IP Office and the European University.

Mykola gave a workshop on the topic: "Fighting counterfeit goods during the war years" and shared with the audience his successful cases regarding this matter.

Yana Yaroshevska, attorney at law at Doubinsky & Osharova, took part in the III Legal Forum EU-Eastern Partnership, held on May 23-24 in Warsaw.

Yana was a speaker at the 3rd panel of the forum, which was devoted to global trends in protecting innovations and commercialising intellectual property rights.

The annual WIPR Diversity Top 100 2024 has recently been released and it includes the WIPR Trailblazers 2024, a ranking of young people professionals who have been practicing in IP for less than a decade but have already made a significant contribution to the sector.

Over the past two years, the Ukrainian IP sphere has undergone significant changes that have affected the judicial protection of intellectual property rights. This applies to both legislative and institutional changes.

Tatyana Shpakovich, Senior Partner and Head of the Patent and Trademark Department at Doubinsky & Osharova, has been listed among the 50 Most Influential Women in IP 2024 in the world and is the only representative from Ukraine to be recognized by the ranking.

The debate around whether the owner of an online platform should be held responsible for the sale of counterfeit goods is gaining momentum in the world of e-commerce.
