Ukrainian Bar Association celebrated its 20th anniversary on November 30, 2022.
On this occasion, the managing partner of Doubinsky & Osharova Michael Doubinsky gave a blitz interview, where he shared his own memories of the beginning of the path of formation of the Association.

On January 31, 2022, Victoria Sopilnyak, partner of Doubinsky & Osharova, held an online webinar "Advertising and intellectual property in the medical industry", organized by Online Law School.

The length is a hallmark of the intellectual property infringement cases. It could take a long time from the moment of filing a lawsuit until consideration of the case on the merits. Сonsideration of cases in several instances could last for years.

The event was held on January 20, 2022 at the initiative of the Committee on Intellectual Property, acting as part of the Ukrainian National Bar Association together with the Research Institute of Intellectual Property of the National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine and the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine.

For more than 20 years Ukrainian authors do not receive proper royalties for the use of their works of art. The reason for this is the absence in Ukraine of an efficient copyright management mechanism, foremost a transparent system of collection and distribution of remuneration (royalties) to copyright holders for the use of their works.

In 2021, on Lawyer's Day and symbolically on his own birthday, the childhood dream of Anton Koval, a partner at Dubinsky & Osharova, an IP lawyer with extensive experience and significant professional achievements, came true: he received a long-awaited CD with an album of his own songs.  

On December 14, 2021 Anastasia Kazankina Counsel at Doubinsky& Osharova, Chairman of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Ukrainian Advocates’ Association, held a webinar on "Measures to secure a claim in intellectual property matters."

As part of the special course "The Right to Create", which was held on December 10 at the Legal High School, partner of "Doubinsky and Osharova" Anton Koval gave a lecture on arising and protection of creators' copyright for literary and musical pieces.

On November 29, 2021, Victoria Sopilnyak, partner of Doubinsky and Osharova, gave a lecture “Trademarks in the pharmaceutical and medical business”. The lecture was part of the MEDICAL LAWYER 3.0 online course on medical and pharmaceutical law, organized by Business Consulting Academy.
